My Story
MY HISTORY As a product of two passionate cultures (African- American/Armenian), music has always resonated with my soul and allowed me to find common ground in my diverse world. From an early age, my parents exposed me to a myriad of music that truly broadened my appreciation for all cultures. My musical influences include the melodic sounds of Jill Scott, jazzy scats of Ella Fitzgerald, iconic pop of Michael Jackson, earth moving ballads of Whitney Houston and of course my dad's rhythmic rap. However, as iconic as all the artists are, the one that sparked my passion to sing and perform is none other than the Queen herself, Beyonce.

MY INFLUENCESMy family has always served as my greatest inspiration. For me, music is the equivalence of livelihood. Globally it can unite generations, gender and nations. At times, it can help me partially disconnect from immediate reality and savor the moment. Music allows me to express my ideas and emotions. It allows me to be whoever I want, whenever I want. Music can embody my emotional, spiritual and physical experiences. I can share these stories while empowering and uplifting. Music is love, music is somber, music is thought-provoking, music is spiritual, MUSIC IS MY LIFE!

MY DREAMSI aspire to be an integral part of the push for women's equality in the world of entertainment. I want to establish my own clothing line and help to change the face of fashion by infusing more faces of color and full figured women. We live in a multicultural world and I want do my part to ensure that diversity is brought to the forefront. In the midst of pushing for change and acceptance, I also hope to capture the elusive honor of earning an EGOT.
